Ok guys. I'm finally posting the series that started it all. I started backwards so this is how you should read the series 1. One Mistake 2. New Friend 3. The Break-up 4. Lucinda's Death. "Alright, alright. I’m up." Noah said, rubbing his eyes. Noah had to be to work at 7:30 and he was not a morning person. Noah laid in the bed for a few more seconds, got up and put his boxers on. As he stood up he smiled and said, "Happy Anniversary Luke." "I knew you didn’t forget," Luke said. It had been 3 wonderful years for Luke and Noah. They broke up once for a month, but they just couldn’t stay away from each other. They now lived in California and were very happy with their lives. Noah worked at a major motion picture studio and Luke was a freelance writer. They decided to move to California where there would be more opportunities for the both them. Of course Holden and Lily were sad but Luke and Noah had to live their own lives. Luke and Noah would always visit on Christmas and Thanksgiving. Family was very important to Luke. "So, what are the plans?" Luke asked while they were in the shower. "Well, I get off at 4 so I will be home around 4:30. I booked a restaurant for 7:30," Noah said while he was washing Luke’s back. "Oh, and I have a surprise for you," Noah whispered in Luke’s ear. "What?" Luke asked. "A surprise is all that I am going to say," Noah answered back. "Oh please tell me. I’ll make it worth your while," Luke said as he turned around and started to kiss Noah’s neck. "Don’t do that. You know I love it when...." Noah said. Luke just ignored Noah and began to suck on his lover's neck. He then moved to his chest and stomach. The water and Luke felt so good to Noah. Luke made his way to Noah’s dick. He started by licking first, then sucking. He went all the way down on Noah and Noah loved it. Luke was sucking with such intensity, Noah’s knees almost buckled. It was 1:30 and Luke was nervous. He was thinking about it all day. Actually all month. It was the biggest mistake of his life. It had only happened once, but he still felt guilty. It was back when Lucinda died. When his grandmother died, he was a wreck. Lucinda was there for him when he first came out. She was always so strong and Luke and always figured that she would live for a very long time. The cancer had come back, and this time it got the best of her. Sometimes he would think about her and began to cry. He missed her so much. When Lucinda died, Luke didn’t take it very well and he was in such grief that he made a mistake. One horrible mistake. The grief just overtook him and he was under its spell. When Luke and Noah went back to Oakdale for the funeral, Luke was a total mess. He didn’t eat, couldn’t sleep, and he started to drink. Luke just wasn’t himself. On the night of the funeral Luke went out, leaving Noah at his mom's house. Luke ran into Mike. Mike was an old college "friend". Mike was 6'1, tan with green eyes. Suddenly Mike looked good again to Luke. They ended up back at Mike's house and they started talking. Luke had just wanted to forget about the day and feel good. Luke and Mike ended up having sex. In that moment the grief he was feeling was stronger than the love he had for Noah. It was 7:00. Luke and Noah were heading out the door. Luke was feeling guilty and he wanted to tell Noah. You can’t tell him on our anniversary Luke thought to himself. That would be totally fucked up. I won’t ruin our anniversary like that. "Luke, I love you so much. I am so happy that we are together," Noah said. Luke looked at Noah. He was so in love with him. He felt so safe with Noah. "I was going to wait until after dinner, but I can’t," Noah said. He pulled out a ring box and inside was a platinum ring with diamonds . "I want you to be mine forever. Luke, will you marry me?" Luke was in total shock. They had talked about it before, but Noah always made it seem as if he didn’t want it. Luke looked at the ring and it had an inscription inside. "Love always," it said. Luke was in tears. He wanted to be with Noah forever. "Yes, I will marry you!" Noah got up from his knees and hugged and kissed Luke. They began to take off their clothes. Dinner reservations were out. They headed to the bedroom and there they made passionate love. It was 1:30 a.m. Luke was laying on his back with his hands under his head looking at the ceiling. Noah was on his side sleeping soundly. Luke took his left hand and stared at the ring. An engagement ring. He just kept staring at it. He was so happy. He never wanted this feeling to end. He then thought about if telling Noah would be the right thing to do. He wanted to tell him. He needed to tell him. Noah deserved the truth. But what if Noah leaves me? Luke thought to himself. I don’t think I would take it very well. We have been through so much together. Will he forgive me if I say something? I can't lose him. I love him too much to let this get in between us. I need him, just like he needs me. Luke wrestled with these thoughts until he had made a decision. Comments/Feedback is welcomed.
