Hi all,
I just found this board. I love Jake. He has grown so much as an actor and his chemistry with Van is amazing. Oh yeah and I think he is gorgeous.
I was disappointed that Ameera was allowed to kiss Jake. She is devious, selfish and ungrateful. The message I get from this is that someone like that can kiss Noah because she is female. Yet Luke who is kind, selfless, giving and he truly loves Noah yet he is not allowed to kiss him because he is male.
I think that they should have had him run after Luke. But if I was Luke I would not have left him alone with Ameera. It took Luke awhile to believe Casey and he already had his suspicions so Noah needs to be given time to believe it. I think that next week when Ameera kisses him again he will believe Luke and set Ameera straight.
As long as they are on ATWT I will watch them. No matter what happens I always love watching them.

Don't give up Ang! I know that you will always love Noah,just like the rest of us! I was angry at first as well that they are writing Noah to be so oblivious, but Nat pointed out to me that he has pretty much been acting EXACTLY the SAME WAY as Luke. I just hope that after next week they allow Noah to get a clue and end this crazy mess.

I could never give up on my JAKE!! He's wonderful. And yes both boys are acting like idiots right now.

You are not alone in your disappointment over Ameera getting to kiss Noah on screen but not Luke. It burns me every time I think about the fact that after this week, Ameera will have kissed Noah on screen the same amount of time that we have seen Luke kiss Noah in the past 7 months (approx.) and here kisses happen within a week's period! As far as the actual characters go, I really hope that the writers have Noah respond in the appropriate way after this next kiss. I can't lie and say that I have much faith in them at this point because they have been slowly killing Noah's character just to fit him into there stupid plot. I was actually afraid that they were going to dumb down Luke as well when Casey told him about Ameera but upon re-watch it seems as if maybe it wasn't a matter of him believing Casey but more that he didn't want to him someone else tell him the things that he was already starting to fear. The looks on his face and the way he tried to defend Ameera had a bit of nervousness to them. Know what I mean?

As for whether or not I will keep watching...I may say that I want to stop but I probably won't. I just wish watching the boys in this s/l didn't make me soo frustrated or sad all the time. The stupid kissing ban has gone a long way in ruining the possibility of maybe giving this s/l some leeway and just enjoying it. Especially after having to watch Ameera kisses. Oh well, I love Jake and I love watching Van and Jake together so that probably means that I will be sticking it out until the very end - kicking and screaming the entire time!

Thanks! I love Jake/Noah too and I watch ATWT for them. The real thing that bothers me is that they get so little airtime and now they have to waste it with Ameera. I wish she would just go away.

Welcome to our group! After today's kiss and Noah's declaration of of rock solid love for Luke, I don't think Homeera in full slut regalia could diminish it in any way. Noah nearly gagged when she kissed him by force and there was no desire in him. He even told her flat out he didn't get anyrhing out of having sex with a woman. I felt sorry for Noah, because because she is so unrelenting in her quest to bed him.
